Thierry Granturco

Thierry Granturco is an international lawyer and strategic counsel with more than three decades of experience advising governments, European institutions, international organisations and private stakeholders on complex legal, institutional and regulatory matters. His practice lies at the intersection of law, international relations, public affairs, governance and strategic negotiation.

Throughout his career, he has been entrusted with assignments involving the design of European and international legal frameworks, the creation of international organisations, the development of public policies, the negotiation of politically sensitive agreements and the resolution of complex cross-border issues. He serves as Expert Legal Adviser to the European Commission, has acted as Expert Legal Adviser to the United Nations, serves as Expert Legal Adviser to Europol, and is admitted to practise before the International Criminal Court.

In parallel with his legal career, he has founded and led international organisations, developed international legal practices within leading law firms, created and developed an investment group employing approximately 250 people and generating consolidated annual revenues of approximately €50 million before successfully transferring it, and has held elected public office.
